This site came into being to showcase my doctoral thesis and other studies into Old Kingdon Egypt. Being an independent Egyptologist (meaning I am not employed by a university or a museum), I have no other way of communicating my work to the Egyptological community.
Although my contribution to original Egyptological research is small, due largely to ill health and the demands of owning a small business, my passion for all things related to ancient Egypt, and Old Kingdom administration in particular, has not waned, and I have several research projects on the drawing board.
I am currently affiliated with The University of Sydney, as an Honorary Associate.
I hope this site will become a interesting and useful repository for Egyptological research.
