Fish or bird?
A colleague has excavated this piece of pottery from an ancient Near Eastern site.
She thinks it looks like a bird's wing. My initial reaction when I saw the line drawing was that it's an Egyptian fish.
She's sent me the line drawing of another one:
I don't know what this is. It doesn't look like a fish to me, or a bird. But what is it?
